School Age Classes

Musical Theatre

Learn the essentials of musical theatre, singing, acting and dancing in this fun filled class. We will play drama games, use movement, improvisation, character creation, different styles of dancing and songs to create and direct a performance in each class.

Jazz Dance

This high-energy and creative dance class will start with a jazz warm up, followed by learning examples of the essential dance vocabulary and technique. In each class children will learn a small piece of choreography to our favorite current music.
Jazz dance incorporates elements of ballet, modern dance and even hip-hop.

INSTRUCTOR

Rebecca Jane Salters

Rebecca is the director of Drama Bugs Theatre School. Rebecca is originally from Liverpool England and has been involved in the entertainment world since the age of 3! She has attended many Theatre Arts Schools in England, which gave her the opportunity to act, sing and dance both on stage and television. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Community Arts from Manchester Metropolitan University, England and has been teaching and performing a variety of arts based programs for all ages and nationalities for over a decade. After university Rebecca worked with Royal Caribbean performing and delivering arts activities. Her work has taken her all over the world but she has now settled here in Vancouver where she has launched her own business, Drama Bugs. Rebecca is passionate about the arts and invites you to join one of her classes today!
